چکیده
Aim: to analyze the dynamics of fibrosis and steatosis liver according fibroelastometry in patients with chronic hep-atitis C (CHC) after ≥ 6 months from transient elastometry (TE) achieving a sustained virologic response (SVR) antiviral therapy. Materials methods. At baseline, prospective observational study included 628 CHC known stage (F) before AVT, some whom were phased out due non-compliance inclusion criteria. The final analysis 297 who had data CAP™ technology on severity (± steatosis) treatment reaching SVR (67 % – interferonfree regimens therapy). Median follow-up moment was confirmed 3 years [2; 6]. Results. end study, average age 49 ± 12 years, which 53 men. In long-term period SVR, regression diagnosed 80 cases (including cirrhosis), progression patient. same time, detected only 31 patient, worsening results 23 (26 them appearance (S) 1–3 degrees persons no fatty start AVT). group steatosis, proportion men significantly higher ( p = 0.004). Clinically significant stages F3–F4 more often recorded hepatic both (46 S1–S3 22 S0, < 0.001) (19 9 0.023). Conclusion. hepatitis achieved long term, despite fibrosis, high prevalence remains. obtained indicate feasibility routine diagnosis management HCV infection successful

Long-term follow-up of patients with chronic hepatitis C with sustained virologic response to interferon.
BACKGROUND AND AIM The durability of the sustained virologic response (SVR) in patients with chronic hepatitis C after treatment and the ideal follow-up time for these patients remains undefined. The objective of the study was to evaluate the durability of the virologic response in patients with chronic hepatitis C followed up for at least 12 months after SVR at HCFMRP-USP. METHODS The study ...

BACKGROUND Clinical outcomes of chronic hepatitis C infection in patients with advanced fibrosis include liver failure, hepatocellular carcinoma, and death. OBJECTIVE To investigate whether sustained virologic response to treatment for hepatitis C is associated with improved clinical outcomes. DESIGN Retrospective cohort study. SETTING 5 hepatology units of tertiary care centers in Europe...
متن کاملAnalysis of the sustained virological response in patients with chronic hepatitis C and liver steatosis.
CONTEXT Chronic hepatitis C as well as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease are recognized as the main cause of liver disease in Western countries. It is common to see the concomitance of the diseases and the influence of steatosis in the sustained virological response of patients with hepatitis C virus. OBJECTIVE Assess the sustained virological response in chronic hepatitis C patients accordin...
متن کامل[Therapy of chronic hepatitis C--virologic response monitoring].
BACKGROUND/AIM Virological testing is considered to be essential in the management of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in order to diagnose infection, and, most importantly, as a guide for treatment decisions and assess the virological response to antiviral therapy. The aim of this study was to determine the rate of a sustained virological response (SVR) and various factors associated with res...
